Thrawn had picked up a few coins the last time he was in Baldur's Gate, and found it interesting that it seemed to be the main source of currency, without the silver and copper coins that made up the smaller amounts. High Command had found that part of his report very interesting.

His men were scouting some of the damaged areas, so perhaps they would find some answers.
"Also, this gigantic brain you speak of. I saw no remains of that when I returned." Even if it had fallen into the water, he would have seen bits of it washed ashore.
