Astarion chose not to comment on the fact that someone with similar teeth had to have done it to him. Thrawn knew now that he was a vampire, and so Astarion didn't see the need to drag his past up to be displayed. A vampire had bitten Astarion. Turned him. Said vampire's name didn't need to be mentioned now- especially considering the man was well and truly dead.

His brows did go up ever so slightly, "Really?"

He tilted his head, considering. Tried his best to not look entirely too interested even if he couldn't help but flick his gaze briefly down to the other man's neck. Even with the distance between them he could hear the rush of blood through veins. Could smell how alien it was. He did wonder what it would taste like, given that different kinds of blood had their own distinctive flavor.

"I am a little surprised, I admit. Though not as much as I might have been had you and the doctor not been fascinated with my spit of all things."
