"As you wish," Thrawn couldn't help the small swell of pride as Astarion complimented how he tasted. Even if the vampire was just trying to get on his good side, he had seemed to genuinely enjoy drinking from Thrawn and had that blissful look after Thrawn cut him off. Perhaps it was because his blood was alien and exotic, or because Thrawn took care of himself. Either way, it was nice to know that his blood hadn't repulsed the man.
