Fraternizing was generally frowned upon within the Empire, even if some officers and ensigns found a way to get off anyway. Between his Wild Space roots and connections to Thrawn, he hadn't exactly been very popular and nobody was lining up to sleep with him. Even if Thrawn was a Grand Admiral now, Eli found that a lot of the men on the ship weren't up to his standards.

But Astarion, something about him just made Eli stir. Like he was worth getting in trouble over.
