"A long while," Thrass replied, his voice carrying a hint of smugness. "I wasn't sure at first, but the more you spoke about Thrawn the more sure I became. And then there was the way Thrawn spoke of you in return."

"I suppose I never could hide anything from you," Thrawn stated. "Not even the things I hid from myself."
