He was confident that they were alone now, and could afford to stop for the moment, so Anders could say what he needed to say. He owed Altair the truth. If he drew the line and left them, then that was the price they would pay.

"Even if we win this war, even if I'm officially pardoned, there are still going to be those who want me dead. You deserve to know who you're getting involved with."
