There had been one or two Templars who he might have counted as good back in Kirkwall, but the presence of one or two good ones didn't make up for the Templars as a whole being rotten to the core. The vast majority of them still believed that mages were a blight upon the world, and at best they believed that mages needed to be imprisoned for the good of everyone.

"Technically 'abomination' is supposed to only refer to mages who get possessed by demons, and the demon completely takes over their body to the point where the mage is just gone. But, more often than not, it just gets used as a general term for any mage who's possessed, since it's not as if the Chantry makes a distinction."
