A Meeting of Aliens
The whole Thanos thing had shook the world. Sure, Earth was used to super powered threats by now, be they men in power armor, supernatural beings come to destroy or enslave humanity, or entire cities destroyed because a sentient robot interpreted his programming in a certain way. But Thanos had come very close to destroying half the population of the entire universe, thanks to the Infinity Stones.
Eddie and Venom hadn't known about it at the time, or else they might have caught the first fight to Wakanda's nearest neighboring city. Thankfully, they hadn't needed to. Thor's brother, the infamous Loki, had shown up, after seemingly having been killed, according to the God of Thunder. Loki's trickery and magic had helped turn the tide, so the Avengers had been able to save the world once more. The details of the battle were still vague, since most of the Avengers didn't feel like talking about it, but Thanos was gone.
That brought Eddie to where he was right now. In a lounge room, notebook in hand and his phone set to record, prepared to interview the one man who was willing to talk. Venom had agreed to stay quiet for now, as they always did when Eddie had to do an interview.
"So, let's get started," Eddie pushes the record button on his phone, before getting his pen ready. "You faked your death, is that correct?"

When Loki's hand strayed to Eddie's shoulder, he looked down at his shoulder, a little surprised. Still, the touch wasn't unwelcome. He was a little disappointed when the hand withdrew.
"Here, let us help you with that." Eddie picked up his and Venom's plates.

[OOC: Sorry. Everything has been so hectic these last few weeks. Especially with the holiday!]
"Oh, you don't have to do that..." He started, though he stopped after a moment, instead just leading the way to the kitchen. He put the dishes in the sink, waving it off a bit.
"I will take care of them later." He said quietly, head tilting slightly to one side. "I truly have enjoyed this evening with the two of you. I want you to know that and I look forward to...hopefully many more like it."

Eddie leaned against the counter, regarding Loki. "We've enjoyed ourselves too, and we sure as hell won't say no if you ever wanna hang out again."
"We enjoy your company."
"We can stream a movie, maybe go for a walk somewhere, or just hang out and talk some more."

"I have enjoyed both of your company as well." He looked at Eddie, obviously thinking about it for a moment before tilting his head. "Would you want to watch a movie now? I know it might be getting a bit late..."
He brushed his fingers back through his hair as he looked at them, motioning towards the living room. "You might have to show me how to stream? I know how to watch what is on the satellite, but beyond that I'm a bit lost."

"Well, since being allowed to come here and stay at the compound, mostly I've been watching documentaries and things dealing with history, just to learn of how much has changed since I came here in my youth." He said, shrugging. "So please, nothing historical or documentary style. I would be please with anything besides that. So, Eddie, you pick." He walked to the couch again, settling in beside Eddie, sitting just a bit closer though he hoped not uncomfortably so.

Venom rested in between them, leaning back against the couch to watch the movie.

Loki's head tilted as the movie started, curious about it obviously. The music was interesting, that much was for certain. After a few moments he looked at Venom, smiling warmly as his gaze swept to the man. He felt peaceful and like he might actually belong just a little bit for once.
Like he'd found friends that he felt he could actually trust. Beings who really seemed to want him around. It meant more to him than he thought Eddie or Venom would ever know.

Aloud, Venom said to Loki, "The last movie we watched together was about a blob monster from space that eats people. I found the movie very inaccurate."

"It does sound interesting. I might have to find it myself." He said while chuckling, turning a bit towards him again. He leaned his arm across the back of the couch, leaning his head on his hand.
"If you two aren't busy...maybe we could make this a regular thing? If you'd be interested. Dinner and a movie or two. I'll always promise to provide an excellent dessert." He teased as he looked at Venom.

"We'd enjoy that. It'll be a nice way to unwind."

"The Blob. Well, the name is rather unoriginal, isn't it?" He asked, chuckling softly as he met Eddie's eyes. "You are welcome whenever you like. And you have my number so all you need to do is ask."
He then looked at Venom, smirking a bit. "I will make sure to find different treats as well. Make it interesting."

He laughed more at their conversation, shaking his head. "Well, I do promise to surprise as often as I can. Perhaps sometime we could...take it a step further." He said quietly, realizing that his words might be taken differently after a few minutes.
"Oh...ah, I mean...well." He blushed, looking down.

"You mean like... a date?"

"Oh! Well, that isn't...I had meant perhaps you could...come visit one of my other residences. Perhaps in New York or...or elsewhere." He stuttered slightly, clearing his throat.
"I wouldn't expect... I mean, if that isn't something you would be interested in. The date, I mean." Loki wanted to slap himself, the flush on his cheeks only darkening with his embarrassment.
Never had he been so flustered in all his life. He wasn't sure what it was about the two, but he certainly was now.

Venom looked between Loki and Eddie, watching their faces and the shades of red they had turned. Obviously he could only read Eddie's mind, but he could guess Loki's feelings based on how his face mirrored Eddie's. "You are both ridiculous."

"What? Why are we ridiculous? What did I do?" He asked, staring at the other alien before looking at Eddie.
He could see the other man was blushing, that he seemed embarrassed as well and he wondered for a moment before suddenly asking. "Eddie, would you...want it to be a date?" He honestly couldn't help his somewhat hopeful look.
Of course, he also looked at Venom, wanting his thoughts on this as well. They were, after all, bonded to one another. He certainly wouldn't want to upset either one.

"Like you weren't complimenting him in my head where you know he can't hear you." Eddie looked back at Loki, suddenly shy again, "Well... I mean, only if you wanted it to be."

"You both intrigue me." He admitted, chuckling softly as he brushed his hair back. He actually laughed at what Eddie said, shaking his head.
"I would like that. I just don't want to impose upon what the two of you have. As I said before."

"I wouldn't even think to try. I am far too interested in both of you." He said, looking from Venom to Eddie, smiling.
"I just...don't really know how to go about this. I have...very few encounters. And most were not in...this form."

"I don't mind taking things slow if that is what you both want. I wasn't exactly meaning I needed to take it slow." He said, shrugging a shoulder.
"I'm only saying that I don't have many experiences. When you are considered a villain by most people...well." He said, shaking his head, frowning as he looked away.
