Vector looked up from his datapad, a slight smile forming on his lips. "Hello, Agent." Even after so much time together, Vector sometimes had a habit of calling his companion Agent.

Putting his datapad aside, Vector stood and approached the chiss. Here they were, two people not even of the same species, and yet that had never been a barrier between them. Just as Vector being part of the killik hive might have disgusted most, but not this man before him.

"Some things, yes. It is just you and us now, and we face the unknown. We wonder where we are to go from here, and, more importantly, we hope that you will not get too lonely now that we are your only companion."
