As far as BG 3 goes, Icewind Dale is set way way way ahead of BG 3, but not in any way that's not handwaveable. And for them I'd prefer to play Gale, or the Dark Urge, or Lae'zel.
We have a lot of other fandoms in common; I'd also be very interested in doing a FO4 thread (I'd prefer to play Valentine), or really .... /anything/ in Dragon Age? That's the setting I know by far the most about, and could pick up a thread from anywhere in the timeline.

Once I get farther along I would love to thread with either of those guys, because I liked Jarlaxle for the little page-time he got in Exile and Entreri is quickly becoming one of my favorites and I love his dynamic with Drizzt.
Fallout 4 and Dragon Age I can definitely do. I'm a bit rusty with Hancock but I can certainly dust him off. And with Dragon Age, Anders is definitely my main muse there.

An initial idea for FO: Assuming we're playing in a continuity where Shaun doesn't get kidnapped and brought to the surface [I enjoy the FO 4 fandom but have not actually played through the entire game; it seems like a situation where the canon plot flows around a designated protagonist, but that the canon companions might have handled in their absence], Hancock starts to figure out what the situation with the Synth replacements and quickly ends up having to rescue Valentine.
Because I have my DA fanfic continuity living rent free in my head always, do you have a preference for where in the timeline to start? I mean, I definitely have a Hawke I'd like to play, but like pretty much the entire cast.

The companions pretty much do their own thing with or without the Sole Survivor, so it's possible to do something without the protagonist, yes.
As for where in the timeline, I'd say either during DA2 or some time after DA2, when tension between the mages and the Chantry has finally boiled over.

Start essentially at the beginning of 2, I'll play Hawke; or we play immediately after 2, and I sort of like the idea of that version taking place in a shitty!Hawke continuity. It might be fun to play a version of Nathaniel who swoops in to determine what the Hell just happened and gets swept up into the mage rebellion at that point?
